Frequently Asked Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are you open?
As Chicago moves into Phase 5, we are open for limited indoor seating with a 90 minute time limit per visit. We ask that all guests continue to wear a mask unless seated, regardless of vaccination status. Our patio is also open and pet-friendly, weather permitting.
We have recently extended our hours! We are open from 7AM-5PM Monday-Friday and 7AM-1PM Saturday-Sunday.
Where are you located?
Our coffee bar is located at 3039 W Fullerton, Chicago, IL 60647, in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.
Are you hiring?
Not currently! Feel free to check back later.
What grind type should I use?
Whole Bean coffee is sent without being ground. Drip is a medium grind style typically used in a regular coffee pot with a filter. Espresso grind style is very fine, and used for an espresso machine. French Press grind style is coarse and can be used in a French Press or to make cold brew!
Do gift cards count towards free shipping?
Sorry, but gift cards do not count towards free shipping. Our gift cards are e-gift cards and will be sent via email to the address you use at checkout.
Can I use discounts on subscriptions?
Our subscriptions are already discounted beyond most discounts we offer, so we can't offer more on top of that. Sorry!
Can I use more than one discount per order?
Well aren't you thrifty! Sorry, but we can't stack discounts. We will occasionally combine offers into one discount code, but only one discount code can be used per order.
Where's my order/tracking number?
All order emails are sent out automatically. You should receive a confirmation email, followed by an email when the label is created, and when your order has been shipped. If you don't receive these emails, please reach out!
Once your order is picked up, please allow up to 14 day for delivery. If you still haven't received your order, please fill out our contact form with your order number and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Who owns the coffee shop?
Hope For The Day owns and operates Sip of Hope as a social enterprise to financially support our proactive suicide prevention and mental health education programming. When Sip of Hope first opened, we worked with Dark Matter Coffee, who helped us in many ways, guiding, educating, and training us to get to the point where we were able to step out on our own in October of 2020.
It has always been a goal of ours to source and roast our own signature blends as Sip of Hope Coffee Roasters, bringing our education back to the communities in which we source from and getting creative with our bags and blends.
How do I get involved?
